We recently reviewed our IT set up and were looking for an IT firm that could quickly understand our requirements. KISS IT was recommended to us, so we decided to try their services. Our experience with KISS IT has been excellent – they are available when you need them and their team were able to quickly identify improvements and implement. When we have a query our dedicated technician handles our call. This means that we don’t have to explain our system to a new person each time. Where possible they will assist over the phone, and where not they are very efficient at completing call outs. We particularly like there charge out structure - It’s based on each 15mins, so you only pay for what you use.

Fork Truck and loader is a premier supplier of materials handling and construction equipment in the Bay of Plenty and Waikato. We supply, service and lease/hire all types of forklifts and construction equipment to a wide variety of industry in the Waikato and bay of plenty. Avalon Incorporated is a not-for-profit organisation that provides Supported Employment, Vocational Services and Community Participation to people with disabilities. We have 20 Staff Members and 120 Clients who attend Avalon.
We were in a position where our Server had to be replaced and we needed to know it was running efficiently and to its full potential. We also had to make sure our database and filing system was fully protected and our back up system was secure.
Avalon contracted Kiss IT to carry out a WOF on our new system and give us a written report of their findings. This was done with no interruption to our daily running of Avalon and was very non invasive. Frank was able to identify some areas where we needed to look at and action on a priority level in his written report. With this WOF he was able to give us an idea of what we would need to be looking at for future requirements as our industry grows. We can now incorporate these into our budgets along with an annual WOF in the years to follow.
We would recommend that every Business, Industry or School has an independent WOF on their systems and I would highly recommend Kiss IT to anyone who wants efficient, professional and cost effective service.

Planwise is a Financial Services Company that provides Risk Solutions to Businesses and Individuals alike.
October 2008 Planwise moved into bigger premises, increased our staff by a further 9 people and increased our database triple fold, making us the largest Financial Services company in the Bay of Plenty region. Since then we have also branched out into Waikato.
The challenge for Frank and his team, was to provide new computer stations, increase our server capabilities to allow for this growth and future growth, merge existing databases from a further 2 companies and to provide us with a simple to use communications network. (of course this all needed to be up an running in time for the move without interrupting our business flow). MTT (NZ) Limited needed a new computer system to replace an existing stand alone laptop. We also needed to improve our system recovery, data back-up systems and to be able to provide remote access for at least two remote users.
We were introduced to Kiss IT at a Tauranga Chamber of Commerce event and I was immediately impressed by Frank's approach to 'Keeping IT solutions simple' (i.e. K.I.S.S.). This introduction resulted in a consultation were the initial system planning and strategies were established.
Phase 1 of our implementation plan is now in place with our new Business Server complete with system recovery / data back-up systems commissioned and fully operational. The delivery and installation was handled smoothly, professionally and without incident. We can now continue to operate the business secure in the knowledge that we are 'system secure' and fully backed-up.
I look forward to working with Kiss IT Limited and their staff to further develop our systems as our business grows.
